Full-timeDescriptionSpatial Front provides IT solutions to federal, state, and local governments, and the private sector. SFI is looking for a Project Manager to support our Federal Government customer.The Program is responsible for programmatic, policy, development, and operations and maintenance (O&M) support for the systems hosted within the enterprise. This requirement covers the following IT support services:
- Contract Management & Helpdesk Management & Operations Management
- Service Desk Tier 1
- Service Desk Tier 2
- Operations Support (Tier 3)
Primary Responsibilities:
The Operations Lead shall provide an individual to work with the HSIN program office as a member of the HSIN Operations Support (Tier 3) team and serve as the lead over all Operations & Maintenance activities and contribute to the overall technical solution.
- Provide direct oversight of the Operations Support (Tier 3) teams.
- Monitor and assist in all day-to-day service operations.
- Establish efficient and effective communication and collaboration between HSIN operations, DHS technical entities, HSIN Application Vendors, HSIN Engineering and other technical teams in support of the HSIN mission.
- Ensure appropriate channels of communication are established during maintenance activities and unplanned outages.
- Ensure all HSIN production applications are appropriately monitored, and alerts properly configured to notify support personnel of system issues which breach defined benchmarks.
- Assist in system operations planning and strategy.
- Ensure application/system configurations are properly written, submitted and documented.
- Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure changes impacting the HSIN System.
- Ensure system capacity and performance are properly monitored
- Ensure new functionality or changes to the system meet stakeholder and user expectations.
- Facilitate daily operational stand-up call and provide metrics on all aspects of HSIN operations to include, at a minimum, the following:
a. Outages b. System Alerts c. Daily System Checks d. Daily System Backups e. Ticket Metrics f. DHS One-Net Requests g. System Operational Statuses h. Operational Testing Activities i. Service Operations Project Statuses j. Maintenance Calendar k. Other Miscellaneous Action Items Requirements
- BS degree in IT or related fields
- Min 8 years project management experience
- Must have Help Desk Lead experience
- HHS understanding
- Strong Communication & Collaborator

Other Information:
- The salary for this position is $125,000 - $155,000 annually
