Dynamic Pro, Inc. (DPI) is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with a background in construction/rail to join our team! This position will provide support to our largest client, the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA) as part of their Traction Power, AC Power Construction Management and On-Call Construction Management Support program. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain project data and information in the WMATA project management software system
- Update data in the system through direct input of contract related data or up-loadingdata files
- Monitor daily activities and report on job progress of field construction, operational impacts, escortneeds and field discrepancies
- Coordinate scopes of work and work packages, develop construction schedules and preparesupporting correspondence for WMATA’s Project Manager’s and/or Task Manager’s approval
- Ensure compliance of procedures identified in the Project Implementation Manual, and provideproject staff with guidance
- Prepare punch lists at the completion of contract milestones and inspection for completion of work
- Assist with preparation of project status reports to identify progress and monitor the project schedule, budget, and staffing plan
- Develop and update estimates, budgets, cashflows, accruals, etc. and assist with other financialplanning/reporting tasks
- Verify accuracy of contractor payment requests, DBE, and Buy America requirements
- Perform other project related duties as assigned by the Project Manager and/or Task Manager.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, constructionmanagement or related subject
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in project management and/or constructionmanagement out of which a minimum of two (2) shall be in the transportation industry
- Demonstrated experience managing large projects with complex schedules and budget
- All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check for employment
- PMP designation preferred but not required.
