Job Description:


This position supports the Office of Assistant Secretary of the Army and Financial Management & Comptroller, Army General Fund Audit Sustainment. The Business Systems Analyst will be a part of the Army’s financial statement auditability initiatives to assist in a broad range of financial management services to support the audit and remediation of the Army’s General Fund Financial Statement Audit (GFFSA). We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support audit remediation activities for the Enterprise Business System-Convergence (EBS-C) team.

  • Provide expertise on modules/applications/tools to support SAP S/4HANA on-premises IT security (authentication, SIEM, interface file processing, audit logging, etc.).
  • Understanding of the audit issues identified within Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) that were issued by the Army's Independent Public Accountant (IPA) ahead of EBS-C business processes.
  • Identify Information Technology control gaps in Army legacy systems that would impact EBS-C auditability and compliance; make recommendations for future state control design in EBS-C.
  • Provide rules, guidance, validation, framework, and expert knowledge to support third-party design and implementation of the Information Technology General Controls that provide Army’s IT systems auditable controls.
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems.
  • Provide ERP configuration recommendations that support auditability, security, and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and present suggestions for improving efficiency and controls.
  • Develop internal audit testing documents and review key supporting documentation.

Experience Requirements:


  • 6 years of experience with federal financial management
  • SAP S/4HANA experience highly preferred
  • Experience with SAP / Security Controls Design
  • Previous Army experience preferred.

Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management

Bachelor’s degree and one of the following certifications: CDFM, CGFM, CICA, PMP, CISA (No waiver required for bachelor’s degree and one of these certs)

Clearance Requirements:
