T-Rex Solutions LLC is a leading business combining innovative Next Generation IT (“NGIT”) capabilities and enabling skills to provide industry-leading solutions to the federal government with a focus on cloud infrastructure and engineering, cybersecurity and large systems integration. T-Rex is part of the winning team awarded a program to support the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) by providing enterprise architecture, data, and engineering services to USTRANSCOM, US Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC), and US Army Surface Deployment Distribution Command (SDDC). The team will develop and deliver enterprise architecture products, capability prototypes, system plans, enterprise cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, and data management services; as well as provide enterprise architecture tool operations support for service offerings across USTRANSCOM and its Transportation Component Commands. As the command transitions into commercial cloud services and future capabilities, T-Rex will support integration efforts to perform analysis across enterprise, systems of systems, and individual system levels as well as assist the Government in developing enterprise strategies, technical standards, and services. All work will be performed at Scott Air Force Base.
Responsibilities:
- Perform systems engineering analyses to identify functional and non-functional requirements, interfaces, environmental factors, transition strategies, cost and risk considerations, and other issues pursuant to new/replacement capabilities.
- Apply state of the art techniques, using multiple programming languages, tools and development environments to drive advances in mission capabilities for sponsor and internal projects.
- Apply technical background in systems development, distributed software and/or data architectures to guide the transformation of military transportation systems.
- Provide software, communications, networking and security recommendations to inform requirements from generation through deployment and testing.
- Work with customer, government, contractor, and other stakeholders in a fully collaborative environment and leverage other efforts as appropriate to mitigate risks.
- Provide strategic technical guidance to acquisition and system development efforts to develop, evolve, and enhance transportation domain systems and operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Secret Security Clearance
- IAM Level I or better (e.g., Security+)
- 3-5+ years of experience in systems engineering and support
- Experience with system development, maintenance, integration, and testing
- 3+ years of experience with platforms such as Azure, AWS, Windows and LINUX systems, development tools and IDEs (integrated development environments), debugging, lifecycles, security, and best practices.
- Experience collaborating with both internal and external development groups.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification or higher
