T-Rex is seeking a Product Manager to manage development and deployment of healthcare management technology to military installations around the world in support of our Defense Health Agency (DHA) customer. The candidate will work closely with staff at site, senior T-Rex Technical Leads, DHMS leaders/staff and DHMS vendors to plan and execute software development, technology deployments and address readiness and execution issues.
The PEO Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS) is transforming the delivery of health care and advance data sharing through a modernized electronic health record for service members, veterans and their families. The Workforce 3.0 program within DHMS is a managed solution that leverages innovative new processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies from the private sector to enable the entire PEO DHMS workforce to deliver world-class technology. This program supports management of technical deployments, field deployments, and technology training/adoption.

Responsibilities:
- Support government product management leadership in driving processes and communications to product teams, including facilitating transition of ownership from requirements management team to product teams
- Support the PMO in the execution of an Agile Framework.
- Provide Agile Project Management support to assist DHMS with the intake, planning, acquisition, and execution of current product lines.
- Provide Agile Facilitation support and assist DHMS with defining program-level Agile ceremonies
- Owns the solution roadmap; Ensures alignment between solution roadmap and overall Capability Roadmap
- Responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of the Solution Team
- Ensures that the Value Team is appropriately staffed
- Ensures appropriate vendors are on contract
- Final DA for solution direction; makes tradeoffs based on cost schedule and performance.
- Agile evangelist; practices adaptive leadership by ensuring that the team adapts its processes to meet changing needs
- Serves as the face of the Solution to internal (i.e., other Solutions and program leadership) as well as external stakeholders
- Coordinates with other Solution Teams via Scrum of Scrums
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager or similar field
- Experience with Cost, Schedule and Performance Management
- Experience executing and leading a cross functional team in an Agile environment
- Experience developing or delivering technical scope of work
- Experience developing detail schedules and tracking and reporting status
- Experience providing subject matter expertise and support to product teams to aid in developing accurate user journeys and system adoption strategies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another similar discipline
- Agile Certification (SAFe Agile Product Owner, Product Manager and/or Certified Scrum Master)
- Experience in the health IT industry and with medical devices
- Experience at the Defense Health Agency
