Making Cents International is looking for senior-level gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) experts to support the design and delivery of GESI-focused strategies and interventions for projects funded by USAID and other clients. We seek experts with demonstrated experience and expertise in women’s economic empowerment and gender inclusion as well as social inclusion of other marginalized groups.
Experts will be expected to provide support in the following areas:
- Conduct project-wide GESI analyses to identify constraints and opportunities for inclusion of women and other marginalized groups as well as specific gender-responsive research and analysis
- Design GESI strategies and approaches and support integration of GESI principles across projects in economic opportunity and youth development sectors
- Develop and/or adapt key tools and systems for GESI strategy implementation
- Conduct socially inclusive and gender-responsive evaluations and impact assessments
- Design GESI indicators for monitoring and evaluation plans and capture results on inclusion and empowerment
- Support the design and delivery of GESI trainings
- Support Making Cents’ thought leadership and industry learning around GESI
- Support clients and Making Cents’ technical and project delivery staff in knowledge management and adaptive learning strategies around GESI
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field and at least 12 years of relevant experience
- Working proficiency in French, Arabic, Spanish, or Russian preferred
