- Serve as the Enterprise Architect developing, updating, and archiving Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products that support customer system integration and documentation requirements.
Experience
- 5 years of experience, within the past 7 years providing Enterprise Architecture using Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) procedures.
- Current experience in and understanding of military operations and in conducting in-depth research, analysis, and documentation of analytical findings and conclusions.
- Desired – USMC military or civilian Service.
- Desired - Prior TECOM experience.
- Desired - Experience in Joint and Combined operations, inter-agency operations, or combat development/defense acquisition
Knowledge
- Expert knowledge on all views detailed in DODAF governance.
- Expert knowledge of DODAF Meta-Model, and Marine Corps policy and guidance governing architecture development and use.
- Knowledge and experience in data modeling.
- Current knowledge of Marine Corps warfighting concepts, warfighting and business functions, and associated Navy, Joint, and Department of Defense (DOD) organization and capabilities development processes.
Skills
- Provide accurate linkages, data exchange requirements, workflows, and associated operational and systems engineering information for legacy, updated, and new training systems and training support systems.
- Identify interoperability requirements with other training systems, training support systems, weapon systems, C2 systems, and training readiness systems.
- Use Defense Collaborative System, WebEx and other collaborative planning tools.
- Use MS Office/365 office, MS SharePoint, MS Windows server and desktop operating environments.
- Desired - Use Cameo, MagicDraw and other DOD-accredited EA tools
Abilities
- Develop all mandated and applicable DODAF Viewpoints for systems within the customer portfolio and recommend changes to external viewpoints necessary to address interoperability needs of the Marine Corps training community.
- Maintain excellent writing, analytic, statistical, and communications skills in order to coordinate effectively, assist with analysis, and communicate with customer leadership and stakeholders.

- Desired - Federal Enterprise Architect Certification (FEAC)/Certified enterprise architect (CEA)
