*This position is hybrid remote in Reston, VAJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled administrator with subject matter expertise in Acquia and Akamai technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of content management systems (CMS) and content delivery networks (CDN), with a focus on optimizing performance, security, and reliability using Acquia and Akamai solutions. This role requires strong technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to administration. Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and manage Acquia (CMS) and Akamai (CDN) solutions to optimize network performance, scalability, and security.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect infrastructure from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats using Acquia and Akamai security features. Assess, audit, and report on security controls, including conducting continuous monitoring in accordance with FedRAMP cloud-security practices.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity, utilizing Acquia and Akamai diagnostics tools and best practices.
Performance Optimization: Optimize configurations and settings to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve user experience, leveraging Acquia and Akamai performance optimization features.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate regular reports on performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects, provide technical guidance, and share expertise in Acquia and Akamai technologies. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. We will consider relevant work experience as an alternative to a college degree for this position.
Proven experience as an Administrator with specialized expertise in Acquia and Akamai technologies.
Strong understanding of networking standards and protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL, and other Internet technologies.
Experience deploying and managing Acquia Cloud Platform, Acquia Site Factory, Akamai Content Delivery Network (CDN), and Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
Relevant certifications such as Acquia Certified Developer (ACD), Akamai Certified Edge Delivery Professional (ACEDP), or equivalent is desirable.
