Making Cents International is looking for senior- and mid-level training experts to support the design and delivery of trainings and curricula for projects in the following practice areas: economic opportunities, youth development, women’s empowerment, inclusive development, democracy human rights, and governance, and monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning. The projects are funded by USAID and other clients and are implemented with a variety of audiences in the US and in the countries in which we work around the world. We seek experts with demonstrated experience and expertise in virtual and/or in-person training who can develop and implement courses and professional development activities. Applicants should be able to manage the development of long-term learning strategies and lead teams in the design and implementation of learning activities.
Training Consultants will be expected to provide support in the following areas:
- Conduct learning needs assessments to inform training design and delivery approaches
- Lead or support the design of in-person, virtual, and blended learning curriculum content and materials using educational best practices, innovative applied learning techniques, and adult-based learning (when applicable)
- Develop manuals and materials for scaled implementation to include training of trainers and development of master trainers
- Evaluate instructional effectiveness of Making Cents’ training courses and workshops
Required Qualifications
Senior-level: Master’s degree in a related field and at least 12 years of relevant experienceMid-level: Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 14 years of experienceMaking Cents International is a certified B Corporation, founded on the principles of social entrepreneurship.
