Senior Informatica Developer – Remote
The scope includes system design, development and implementation of a disease surveillance and licensing and permitting solution with additional wrap-around services, such as change management and training for these systems and two other system implementations of immunization and lab information systems.
Required Skills
• Strong experience in data conversion to Salesforce Target using Informatica tools, such as Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC.• Experienced in data conversion to Salesforce ORG.• Experienced in data conversion to Snowflake warehouse.• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries, design and maintain databases, and optimize performance.• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.• Understanding of data conversion best practices, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.• Familiarity with data integration techniques, including ETL, ELT.• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical requirements and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Skills • Salesforce Data Conversion Experience (Mandatory)• Informatica Tool• Data Modelling
Responsibilities
• Designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using the Informatica tool any flavors to extract data from legacy systems, transform it into a format suitable for loading into Salesforce.• Working with stakeholders to understand the business requirements for data conversion and mapping those requirements to ETL processes.• Developing and maintaining documentation for ETL processes, including data mappings, transformation rules, and error handling procedures.• Testing ETL processes to ensure that they are working correctly and making modifications as necessary.• Troubleshooting ETL process failures and providing support to end-users as needed.• Performance Tuning of Informatica queries• Collaborating with other developers and project managers to ensure that ETL processes are integrated with other components of the project.Expected Deliverable(s) • Salesforce data conversion validation with underlying acceptance criteria.• Technical documentation and deliverables required by the client, including STTM’s, Data Migration Plan and other development artifacts.
