Lovelytics' people team is growing! We are looking for a People Ops Specialist/Generalist to join the team and play a role in making sure Lovelytics stays next level when it comes to employee experience and process.
In this role, you'll partner with the people and talent team along with department managers to assist in the success of the employee life cycle. From onboarding to performance management and benefits, we are looking for someone with a passion for improving the way things are done and always thinking about the impact this function can make on an organization.Although the primary focus of this role will be handling the day-to-day people ops administration, there will be plenty of opportunities to work on special projects and initiatives throughout the year. This role is open to candidates residing in the DC Metro Area who are comfortable commuting into the office on an as-needed basis (1-2 days per week).

Responsibilities:


  • Drive a top-notch onboarding experience for employees by partnering with the talent team and hiring managers to ensure all basis are covered and a seamless transition from candidate to employee
  • Follow up with team members and business partners to ensure required information is received, submitted, and filed
  • Perform regular HR administrative functions, such as HRIS updates, benefit enrollments, audits, and employee document management
  • Participate with the People team on process improvements and project rollouts
  • Support quarterly and end-of-year performance review process
  • Responsible for review of all background checks, I-9s, employment verifications, and employee updates in our HRIS (Namely)
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date policies, people programs, new hire resources, and more on our Lovelytics Connect site
  • Participate in projects to further enhance our People Operations processes for an improved employee experience

Our Ideal Candidate's Skills and Experience:


  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR/people operations role focusing on a variety of different areas within the HR functions
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services firm a plus!
  • Fundamental understanding of benefit offerings, compliance, and the importance of confidentiality
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of drive and urgency, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously and working on a variety of projects
  • Passion for people ops and delivering an impactful employee experience
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS technologies (we use Namely, ADP and JazzHR)
  • Strong integrity and initiative- when you see an issue you have a desire to fix it!
