Sol Systems, a leader in the renewable company, is looking for a Coordinator, Marketing & Communications. The Coordinator, Marketing & Communications will support the team in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and communications strategies. The Coordinator will produce email marketing campaigns, promotional material and social media. This person will also contribute to the development of publications, websites, facilitate marketing campaigns, schedule meetings, create timelines and plan events. This role will report to the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications but will also support the daily administrative needs of the marketing & communications team in addition to supporting corporate sales, government affairs and policy.

The Coordinator, Marketing & Communications will be responsible for:
- Collaborate in the identification, development, and execution of comprehensive communications strategies.
- Assist in devising marketing plans and timelines for various channels including email, web, and print media.
- Produce high-quality written content with meticulous attention to detail.
- Develop and proofread content for the company's public website and social media platforms.
- Create and manage marketing collateral, both digital and print.
- Coordinate conference attendance logistics, including managing attendee lists, marketing materials, and speaker arrangements.
- Oversee the distribution of press releases, media relations content, and maintain robust media contact databases.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and develop production timelines.
- Undertake daily administrative tasks and support data management for the marketing & communications team as well as other Sol teams.
A successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
- One to three years of experience in related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong editing, proofreading and layout/design skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Highly organized individual with attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem solver
Location & Hours:
This is a full-time role and will be based in our Washington, DC office.
