We are currently seeking a highly skilled
Senior Informatics Program Analyst
with a strong foundation in program analysis and evaluation, coupled with a specialized focus on clinical informatics within the Veterans Administration healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operating programs, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to improve business processes and program outcomes. Please note this position is contingent upon award.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, analysis, and evaluation of program effectiveness, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.
- Utilize source data to conduct thorough assessments of programs and business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Manipulate and analyze data to present clear and concise program status reports, making evidence-based recommendations for enhancing business processes.
- Possess a deep understanding of clinical informatics, particularly within the Veterans Administration healthcare setting, to inform program analysis and recommendations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program operations and outcomes.
- Promote and apply the principles and practices of SAFe’s Lean Agile methodology to drive value, support organizational change, and achieve operational excellence by empowering high-performing Agile teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in program analysis, with a strong preference for candidates with relevant clinical informatics experience within a Veterans Administration healthcare setting.
- Proven experience with Oracle Millennium.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs using both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis, with the ability to present findings and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Knowledge of and experience with identifying and mitigating risks in program operations.
- Familiarity with SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices, with a demonstrated understanding of how to apply these to drive organizational change and operational excellence.
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Detailed understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Project) and their features/functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
- Deep experience with creating executive-level documentation and reports.
- Detailed understanding IT System Development Life Cycle, Agile, or SAFe concepts.
- Ability to interface well with end-users and senior client stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environment.
- Detail-oriented consulting approach, with client service focus.
- Self-starter able to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in project management, Agile methodologies, or clinical informatics.
- Experience with systems such as NASA Task Load Index (TLX), System Usability Scale (SUS), Post-Study Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ), Health Information Technology Usability Evaluation Scale (ITUEs), CPRS/VISTA, TermMed, Symedical, VA SNOMED Extension (VSE), Health Level 7 (HL7), and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).
- Experience in healthcare.

$110,000 - $130,000 a yearThis range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
