  The PIDS II program was developed to manage and track the Air Force's cryptographic device hardware maintenance activities.  This is an opportunity to use your programming skills and be involved in how cryptographic products are managed daily to protect our nation from its adversaries.  We want to discuss your skills and how you may fit into our culture of ensuring the customer gets outstanding services from our company.

Position Summary:


The Software Engineer will perform software development and maintenance tasks, including analysis, design, development, integration, debugging, troubleshooting, building, testing, and documentation of system software and related databases.Technical support to set up, test, and validate the software development and test environment, maintain configuration management, quality assurance, and activities covering the full software life cycle process.

Required Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
  • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience as a programmer with JavaScript, SQL, and HTML
  • Experience working with Java NetBeans IDE or other Java IDE such as JDeveloper as well as Jakarta Struts API Framework and Apache Tomcat Server
  • Technologies and languages: Java EE, JavaScript, Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Beans (EJB), and HTML
  • Ability to learn new applications and technologies to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Organizational fit for the culture, that is, exhibit the values of Commitment, Caring, Integrity, Fun, and Passion

Clearance:


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance required

Work Location:


  • Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX
