Management Controls Inc. (MCi) is looking for a Regional Vice President, Sales to join our Sales team. In this role, you will drive new business development and sales. The business is privately held, has been around for 30 years, services most of the Fortune 100, and is experiencing exponential growth, which will last into the next decade. Duties and responsibilities


• Gain a thorough understanding of the Track application and the value prospects will receive once implemented• Develop the ability to perform product demonstrations and highlight how Track meets each prospect’s needs / requirements• Drive account management activities in an effort to pursue and close Fortune 500 process industry prospects (e.g., Chemicals, Metals, Mining, Power, Refining, Pulp & Paper, etc…)• Grow and maintain a sales pipeline in excess of $10M in real opportunities.

Yearly quota of $2M with an above market commission structure• Assist senior management in defining and identifying potential sales targets and opportunities for expansion in new markets• Assist the sales and marketing department in all aspects of the sales cycle with a focus on client identification and qualification• Actively target new prospects for business development opportunities• Handle the initial response to inquiries from all prospective customers• Maintain the client database for active customer renewals / license dues• Assist the sales department personnel in preparing initial proposals / RFP responses• Oversee / assist in the development of marketing correspondence• Point person on industry affiliations and memberships• Manage all trade show attendance and registration; attend as neededRequirements

Qualifications include:


• Bachelor’s degree• 5+ years of experience in a SaaS sales department and leading complex sales efforts and initiatives• Strong analytical skills• Effective communication skills with a wide variety of people• Strength in customer service skills• Willing to work in a highly collaborative team environment• Competent in the Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word

• Leadership – handle technically challenging situations• Strong communications skills – Excellent spoken and written English communication skills• Effective, polished interaction in virtual delivery in 1:1 engagements or 1: Many presentations• Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills, an ability to use various data collection tools and methodologies to analyze problems and develop solutions• Outstanding partnering capabilities and ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment• Ability to drive product/service improvements in core technical focus area• Logical and Critical thinking, and demonstrated success in dealing with ambiguity and problem definition under continual deadline constraints California applicants: please see our privacy notice here.
