Description
Sigma Defense is seeking a Computer Programmer IV to work on an upcoming Navy contract in the Norfolk, VA area. This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements
- 3 years of professional experience in the each of following skillsets / disciplines:
- High Level Programming Language (e.g. C++, Java, Python).
- Operating Systems experience in Windows and Linux.
- Linux System administration.
- VMware.
- Software Containerization application and utilization (e.g. Docker, IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
- Repository management experience (e.g. Git, Mercurial).
- Software configuration management of tracking bug/enhancements in software releases.
- System and Network Security related activities to include design, implementation, configuration and enforcement of security controls on network, hardware, and software components and devices.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI clearance.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineer or Computer Science.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 annually
