Position Summary:
Web Optimization Specialists are focused on preparing restaurant partners for success with the Menufy online ordering solution by developing and marketing their brand’s web presence across popular platforms like Google, Bing, Apple, and more. You will be working closely with new customers by helping them setup and reviewing their online web presence for success with Menufy online ordering and helping to maintain that presence afterwards. Focus on customer outreach and maintaining a high knowledge of Google My Business.
This is a remote role but may not be performed in the following states: California, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C, or Washington.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with a Project Coordinator to ensure our customers are marketed well on web platforms to establish them for greater success
- Analyze restaurants and their current social media and web presence
- Recover, optimize, maintain, and protect our customers’ information on search engines and Google Business Profiles
- Regularly communicate with customers to help them understand best practices for optimizing their business presence online
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the Google My Business platform
- Communicate with other organizations such as Google Support to assist our customers’ needs
- Generate restaurant descriptions and review other back-end settings on a client’s Menufy website to help improve website searchability (SEO)
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or higher
- Experience:
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 1 year industry or related experience required
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience required
- 1+ years of restaurant experience preferred
What You Need For This Position:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organization
- Strong knowledge of Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Experience using Zendesk is preferred
- Experience with Google Business Profiles, Apple Listings, and Bing Places for Business preferred
- Secondary language (particularly Spanish or Chinese) helpful
