If you are a college student who is ready to gain real world experience at one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the manufacturing space, the Xometry Summer Internship Program is for you! The internship program is designed to teach the future leaders of our industry the technical, business and communication skills necessary for success.At Xometry, our greatest assets are the world-class employees who work hard every day to uphold our reputation for innovation, reliability and relentless devotion to helping customers.
For eleven weeks, you will work alongside those employees to learn the business and help solve the problems they currently experience. In addition to the daily, hands-on experience within your team, you will collaborate with your fellow interns on a case study centered around one of Xometry' s business needs or challenges. At the end of the eleven-week period, you will present your findings to senior leadership as a team.
As a member of the Xometry Internship Program within the Accounting Team, you can expect:

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the order to cash cycle.
- Support the analysis of customer aging reports, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and other key metrics related to accounts receivable.
- Review process of reconciling customer accounts receivable balances and resolving any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
- Review and recommend enhancements in cash application processes, including posting customer payments and reconciling bank deposits.
The ideal candidate will be pursuing degrees in: Accounting, Business, or related field

Eligible candidates for the Internship Program will meet these requirements:
- Currently enrolled full time at an accredited college or university with plans to graduate in May 2025 (Summer between Junior and Senior year)
- Have a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average
- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week
- Must be available to work for the entire duration of the internship program (June 10 - August 16, 2024)
- Able to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to commute to our North Bethesda, MD office
