The Construction Manager reports directly to the Project Manager. The Construction Manager's duties and responsibilities require that they will be both knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline construction and inspection.Primary Functions:
- Participates with management and the Client in the planning and development of project assignments.
- Provide construction consultation, assistance and information to management and the Client.
- Maintains costs and scheduling control within assigned project cost.
- Assures adherence to all Client specifications and codes.
- Assures proper timing and execution of staff control in the areas of quality assurance/control, documentation, reporting, contracts and material delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of ten (10) years management experience in the pipeline and construction industry.
- Has actual field experience in all phases of quality assurance and control.
- Familiar with all aspects of DOT Regulations, API standards and other project requirements.
- Must be able to effectively utilize staff resources and staff expertise as changing and advancing technology and project needs dictate.
