Job Description


 We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran. This role requires a deep understanding of data lineage creation and the ability to translate complex business challenges into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Utilize Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran for data transformation and movement.
  • Create data lineages and models to support business intelligence and data warehousing.
  • Translate complex business issues into technical tasks for team members.
  • Implement best practices in data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality data solutions.
  • Define technical deliverables, conduct risk analysis, and estimate efforts for projects.
  • Review work delivered by other technical team members.

Qualifications


  • Proven experience in data engineering with Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.
  • Strong background in data modeling and pipeline construction.
  • Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management and team leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

Additional Skills:


  • Reviewing PRs and providing constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced skills in analytics engineering and model design.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various data architecture approaches.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues and value to non-technical stakeholders.
