Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran. This role requires a deep understanding of data lineage creation and the ability to translate complex business challenges into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Utilize Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran for data transformation and movement.
- Create data lineages and models to support business intelligence and data warehousing.
- Translate complex business issues into technical tasks for team members.
- Implement best practices in data modeling and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality data solutions.
- Define technical deliverables, conduct risk analysis, and estimate efforts for projects.
- Review work delivered by other technical team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data engineering with Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.
- Strong background in data modeling and pipeline construction.
- Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management and team leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Additional Skills:
- Reviewing PRs and providing constructive feedback.
- Familiarity with product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Advanced skills in analytics engineering and model design.
- Comprehensive understanding of various data architecture approaches.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and value to non-technical stakeholders.
