This position is intended for a professional with experience in managing and optimizing enterprise-level sites, has technical savvy that blend SEO expertise with developer skills, and a desire to dive into new challenges and opportunities. The focus of the role will be on SEO for Thomasnet.com, a dynamic, leading marketplace for industrial goods and services of all types.
Responsibilities:
- Role primarily focuses on organic SEO growth of a large authority directory site in the B2B niche.
- Will provide recommendations and documentation on Technical SEO, On-Site Optimization, Content Optimization, and Content Marketing Opportunities.
- Will collaborate with members of the Customer Marketing team and other departments, such as development and customer support, to advance various campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-5 years of SEO experience, particularly with enterprise-level websites.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and Ahrefs.
- Experience in automation and analysis of SEO projects using Python or similar.
- Knowledge in conducting large-scale site audits, identifying technical SEO opportunities, site architecture improvements, crawl budget optimization, and site performance enhancements.
- Ability to draft technical documentation for site improvements and optimizations, intended for a technical but non-SEO audience.
- Experience with large-scale directory sites is a significant plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
