About the Role:
As part of the Trace3xpereince Program, the Service Operations Tracer (Intern) will learn the end-to-end operational lifecycle of professional services engagements including pre-sales support for any of our Sales teams, project administration, and project delivery oversight functions. The Service Operations Intern will have a chance to work closely with Client Experience Leaders on internal projects to drive operational efficiencies. Tracers in this program will receive accelerated professional development, IT industry exposure, world-class mentoring, and a unique networking opportunity across the organization.This role will support strategic projects that include PMO audit and governance activities, data analysis helping to pinpoint challenges in our professional services teams, support the creation of end-user training and enablement content related to a large-scale new systems implementation, and assist in data and record clean-up activities pertaining to our services vendors within our newly implemented vendor management system.
What You Can Expect To Learn:
- Learn about opportunity management and the pre-sales lifecycle within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
- Learn about the services quoting process which includes scoping, review and validation of a level of effort (LoE) and the tools available to Sales to generate a Solution Proposal
- Assist in generating training and end-user enablement documentation to contribute to a repository for learning and development related to a large-scale Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution implementation
- Learn how to build relationships with internal teams, sales, and outside vendors
- Assist in conducting audits and reviews of project management processes and documentation to ensure compliance with organizational standard and policies
- Support the PMO team in maintaining a governance framework and procedures to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct data analysis on professional services data sets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Shadow various Service Delivery Leadership to observe service delivery management functions
- Assist in the clean-up and maintenance activities within the Vendor Management System (VMS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date vendor information
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Client Experience Leaders execute on operational initiatives
Eligibility and Preferred Skills:
- Enrollment in the Junior or Senior year of an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university
- Candidates should be pursuing a field of study applicable to the Services Operations Internship (e.g., Business Administration, Communications, Operations, Data & Analytics, Finance)
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or better; People and Organizational Health may require a copy of the applicant’s transcript
- Academic or professional/internship experience working in a professional setting is a plus
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments
- Self-motivated individuals with a customer mindset and desire to help people
- Enthusiasm for technical problem solving, with attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to learn and research in a dynamic and engaging environment
- Availability to work 40 hours per week throughout the internship
- Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures associated with service operations.
- Proficient in basic computer/laptop use, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.Estimated Pay Range$19—$24 USD
