Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Fixed Term
Jr. UAS Pilot to join our team in Houston, Texas, for a limited duration from October 30, 2023, to December 6, 2023. Although this is a Houston based position, candidates can expect to be deployed for a portion of the term, and in Houston for part of the term. As a Jr. UAS Pilot, you will work closely with our experienced UAS Pilots to assist in various aspects of navigation, operations, and data management during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist UAS Pilots in pre-flight checks and preparations.- Operate UAS under the supervision of experienced pilots during data collection missions.- Monitor UAS performance and ensure safety protocols are followed.- Assist in data collection, including capturing images, videos, and other relevant data.- Assist with data management, storage, and organization.- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines for UAS operations.
Working Conditions
- This position is a fixed-term contract lasting from October 30, 2023, to December 6, 2023.- You will work both indoors and outdoors, potentially in varying weather conditions.- Some travel may be required for project assignments.

Requirements
- Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required).- Valid driver's license.- Ability to pass DOT Drug and Alcohol Screening (required).- High school diploma or equivalent.- Interest in and basic knowledge of unmanned aerial systems.- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.- Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technology and procedures.
