W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between. Candidate will build, assemble, and wire custom control panels per provided drawings and electrical schematic.Requirements
- Assemble products through use of a wiring schematic
- Assemble products through use of a mechanical layout drawing
- Assemble products for use in Hazardous locations
- Install and terminate cables and control wiring
- Install electrical components into panels
- Install electrical equipment into buildings and other structures
- Install power and controls to motors, HVAC, and other equipment
- Install receptacles, lighting systems, fixtures, etc.
- Install raceway systems, conduits and fittings
Qualifications:
- 2+ years minimum experience in the electrical industry
- Understand and read wiring schematic including symbol identification
- Basic knowledge of hand tools/power tools
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be able to complete tasks and job functions in a timely, cost-effective manner
Physical Requirements
- Use of small hand tools.
- Use of power tools.
- Climbing of stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds.
- Carrying of loads up & down stairs.
- Exposure to noisy or dusty conditions; chemicals& solvents; mechanical, electrical, and/or other hazards.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to reach with arms and use tools above/over the head.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements.
