Summary:
The Servers are friendly and outgoing beer enthusiasts with extensive knowledge of our beer, food and the company. They represent the company by providing incredible service to our guests.
Duties:
- Being a promotional spokesperson for Saint Arnold; this is a part of everybody’s job description
- Servers should have extensive knowledge of beer styles, SABC beers and food and should stay abreast of new and upcoming products and trends in the industry
- Be prepared to work at designated start time
- Be presentable to guests at all times following the company dress code
- Greet guests upon arrival and create a welcoming environment for all guest
- Assist guests in making beer, food and merchandise choices and upsell when appropriate
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Deliver food and beverage assuring accuracy prior to delivery
- Maintain a clean environment for our guests
- Guest service including accommodating all reasonable guest requests, if possible
- Close tickets and collect payment using the POS system
- Following the company cash handling policy at all times
- Opening and closing duties as required
- Know and follow all laws, rules, regulations and company policies regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages and proper food handling; this is a part of everybody’s job description.
- Work as a team with all coworkers
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant work experience required, experience waiting tables is a plus
- Previous POS experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of craft beer required
- Basic math and money handling skills
- TABC seller certification and Texas Food Handler’s Training required prior to start and must be maintained throughout tenure
- Ability to be attentive to guest needs
- Ability to maintain patience with guests and coworkers in difficult situations
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate in English (read, write and speak). Additional language skills are a plus
- Be a craft beer lover!
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to think quickly and creatively to address unique quest needs
