Are you ready to be at the forefront of the clean energy revolution? MetOx International, Inc. is seeking a Strategy Intern to join our Corporate Strategy team for Summer 2024 and play a vital role in reshaping the future of power generation and distribution.
This internship program is designed for sophomore-level or above business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, or sustainability students seeking hands-on experience in their field during the summer break. You will work closely with experienced business development, finance, sales, operations, and engineering professionals on meaningful projects, gaining practical insights and contributing to the success of the organization. The position reports directly to the Vice President Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates market and competitive landscape for advanced conductors, develops key industry partnerships, explores new and existing markets, and focuses on sustainable solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree focused on business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, sustainability, or related program at an accredited university.
- Sophomore level standing or above.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a major in business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, or sustainability.
- Previous internship or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated interest in new technologies, energy transition, clean energy and sustainability.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in work deliverables.
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
