Based at our global headquarters in Houston, TX, the Engineering Intern has an opportunity to apply their advanced engineering knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. This internship program is designed for sophomore-level or above engineering students seeking hands-on experience in their field during the summer break. You will work closely with experienced engineers and professionals on meaningful projects, gaining practical insights and contributing to the success of the organization. The position reports directly to the Manager Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and improves reel lift device and mini crane to ensure they meet fit all equipment needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s of engineering program or related program at an accredited university.
- Sophomore level standing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a major in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Previous internship or relevant work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Machine design and/or electrical control and system engineering.
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
