Junior Quotations Specialist

Full-timeDescriptionLonestar Electric Supply has an immediate opening for a Quotations Specialist. In this position, you would be a key part of the Quotations Team, ensuring that Lonestar’s commercial and multifamily projects are successfully estimated and quoted. You will use your strong organizational skills to work closely with our sales team, manufacturer representative agencies, and manufacturers to acquire the necessary information to account for, estimate, and accurately quote all materials associated with lighting scope of construction projects.

· Work with Lonestar’s sales team and its customers to understand all pertinent project details· Gather all information required to accurately estimate and quote projects, including quantity takeoffs· Send quote requests to manufacturers and manufacturers’ representatives· Follow up and correspond with various bodies, including but not limited to sales team, manufacturer’s representatives, and external clients.· Prepare submittals of lighting packages for approval by customer;· Ensure work is delivered to agreed service level;· Obtain and maintain current information on agents ongoing pricing structures;· Administer quotes with special instructions and documentation requirements;· Expedite project quotes and prepare required client reports;· Communicate with all departments involved in completing quotations;· Participate in job handoff meetings· Be passionate· Be flexible and adaptable· Be an innovative thinker· Be customer focused· Be ethical· Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor or managerRequirements

· Ability to work with customers and provide excellent service· Outstanding computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat· Ability to multi-task while staying organized· Demonstrated adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic organization· Experience working as part of a team· Experience owning and completing projects independently· Excellent communication skills with exemplary phone manners.· Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from sales team, and clients;· Ability to coordinate with various entities at the same time· Ability to manage and maintain several portfolios for various clients at the same time· Good team player, honest, and willing to be cooperative with fellow colleagues.Lonestar Electric Supply….
