Job Summary
Assists Warehouse Supervisor in processing outgoing gasket shipments, this to include pulling and packing orders. Operates UPS rate machine and personal computer relating to Federal Express shipments. Makes required deliveries assigned by Shop Lead/Branch Manager. Stock processed and put away. Keeps shop clean. May perform other duties as assigned by Shop Lead/ Regional District Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares documents for shipment either by our truck, UPS, FEDX or other Shipping Carrier.
- Makes appropriate arrangements for shipments with freight companies.
- Pull & Pack orders for outgoing.
- Processes Inbound Transfers, UPS, FedX or any incoming Freight to be received and puts stock on shelves.
- Operates UPS machine to determine rate of UPS shipments and print tracking labels/information.
- Makes required deliveries by Company truck.
- Maintain records of maintenance for Company Truck, Trailer and keep service up to date as needed.
- Maintains a clean shop.

Skills
- Ability to understand verbal/written instructions.
- Ability to communicate in a clear manner.
- Basic computer skills and proficient typing skills.
- Ability to obtain TWIC(Transportation Worker Identification Credential) as required to make deliveries to all Refineries, Power Plants and Chemical Process Facilities.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Work Experience
- Previous shipping clerk or shipping department work experience would be helpful.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
- Continuous standing and/or walking.
- Moderate physical effort- working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights.
- Good eye/hand/foot coordination.
- Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
- Must be able to lift twenty-five pounds independently.
Salary Range
- Depending on Experience: $18.00/Hour - $20.00/Hour
