Full-timeDescriptionThis is an Inside Sales Representative position responsible for the overall customer care to customers and suppliers to establish customer satisfaction and loyalty. This person is experienced in an Inside Sales role and can provide recommendations, advise, technical resolutions and problem solving to customers and the Inside Sales team. This position helps support, develop and train the Inside Sales team.
Position Responsibilities:
· Provide technical specification and recommendations (internal and external)· Process orders and provide pricing information to customers· Collaborate with outside sales team to support the needs for the field· Support the Inside Sales team in setting and tracking sales targets· Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process· Coordinate team projects to ensure deadlines are met· Cross training Inside Sales team on product lines and technical specifications· Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new products and features· Research methods to increase customer engagement· Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements· Liaise with Marketing and Web & Digital specialist departments to ensure brand consistency and drive increased sales· Provide dedicated, direct lines of contact for key and target customers· Coordinate and drive cross training of Inside Sales team· Work with Leadership team to improve Inside Sales processes and procedures· Partner with account manager(s) to fully satisfy the needs of their key, target, and maintenance customers· Evaluate key and target accounts to determine what level of inventory needs to be stockedRequirements
Position Requirements:
- Two - three years of experience working within the industrial mechanical/rotating equipment distribution industry
- Technical product knowledge of rotating equipment services and products
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service focus – understand the need, solve problems, and respond in an efficient manner
- Organizational skills – ability to manage time and multi-task.
- Interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications required; ability to navigate internal software programs will be needed after hire.
- Experience working in ERP systems and CRM
