If you like a fast-paced environment, a team structure that provides support, training, and development, then apply today!CCTV Lead Sewer Camera Operator Location: Home base is Tampa, FL Primary Function: The CCTV Lead Operator position will be responsible for all activities related to the Closed-Circuit TV/Camera inspection of Sewer Lines, Catch basins and other structures. This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective performance of the work in accordance with the local, state, or commercial agencies policies and procedures.
This work includes ensuring that work is conducted logically and in accordance with maps or GIS information, that work is documented for reporting purposes, and that work is reviewed before submission to the client. They will provide safe and professional operation of a CCTV truck and be able to mobilize to each site and operate equipment.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe and professional operation of a CCTV Truck unit(s). Mobilize to each site and safely operate equipment.
- Inspect sewer lines and other structures using NASSCO MACP/PACP/LACP guidelines and recommendations.
- Maintain CCTV Truck equipment in good operating condition by adjusting, cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs.
- Attend various meetings related to assigned projects as needed.
- Work with the client to obtain maps or files for work performance.
- Brief and manage crew on job assignments and expectations.
- Continuously monitor work being performed for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all field reports are detailed and complete before review or submission to the client.
- Assist with coordination of required project acceptance testing.
- Provide overall operations and monitoring of CCTV crew and their performance.
- Ensure the efficient working of the control room.
- Ensure work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, current legislation and the codes of practice administered by the client.
- Ensure that the control room and all equipment is always maintained satisfactorily by managing the CCTV maintenance contract, ensuring that faults are remedied within the terms of the contract and meeting with management to ensure contract compliance.
- Ensure the accurate recording of all events and actions monitored from within the control room, including the maintenance of daily logs.
- Interface with partners and Field Inspectors to ensure that service level agreement is achieved.
- Ensure that files are stored securely under the Data Protection regulations and that security is maintained.
- Identify potential problems and notify the contractor and client of any potential problems.
- Maintain job specific quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual.
- Compose and submit weekly status reports, weekly percentage completion reports, and daily reports to include project conditions, general conditions and activities, temperatures, weather conditions, subcontractors and personnel, hours worked, description of work performed, equipment used,
- Perform related work as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of CCTV and sewer system practices, techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of maps and/or GIS information
- Basic math skills to assist with measurements and computations of installed quantities.
- Must be able to interpret and implement company mandated safety policies.
- Must be able to operate a computer and computer software related to word processing and spreadsheets.
- Attention to Detail is critical to overall success in this position.
- Ability to manage, plan, schedule, and undertake work safely, independently, and professionally.
- Ability to read and interpret maps, plans and specifications and to compare them with various aspects of progress, to detect errors.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, clients, and property owners.
- Ability to work independently and to multitask.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED is required plus
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a CCTV Operator
- A valid driver license is required
- MACP/PACP/LACP Certification is required
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to sit up to eight hours or more at a time
- Required to walk in rugged conditions
- Work may be conducted in adverse weather conditions
- Required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to enter confined spaces.
- Frequently lift and/or move at least 65lbs.
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
