INOVUES is hiring a full-time product engineer to join its team in Houston, Texas. This position can be hybrid – some work requires being conducted in-person at the company and some work can be done remotely.

About the Role:
This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities and continuously involves developing new skills and learning about a wide range of facade and glazing-related topics. Your role will involve:
- Assisting in product development, testing, and process/quality improvement.
- Providing engineering support to INOVUES’ team throughout all phases of the company’s facade and window retrofit projects, including technical sales support, cost-benefit studies, thermal performance analysis, budgeting/estimation, site visits/reviews, material selections, proposal preparation, procurement, fabrication models/drawings/cut lists, etc.
- Communicating with INOVUES’ suppliers, partners, and customers.
In this position, you will work closely with INOVUES’ Founder/CTO and Director of Engineering and collaborate with INOVUES' product specialists and sales team. We are looking for a dynamic team player with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about sustainability and innovation and eager to make an impact as part of a growing, mission-driven team.
What We Are Looking for:
- 3-5+ years of experience in facade engineering and building envelope projects.
- Technical understanding of window and curtain wall systems, architectural glazing, and insulating glass. Product development, system design/engineering, and/or building envelope/building enclosure consulting experience preferred.
- Understanding of architectural glass and metal systems manufacturing/fabrication is preferred.
- Understanding of building science and thermal performance analysis is a plus.
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software is required.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain flexible and agile in a constantly evolving/changing environment.
- Experience working in a dynamic fast-growth startup environment is a plus (comfortable with ambiguity).
- Highly accountable and maintains a strong work ethic. Always acts with integrity, keeps commitments, and practices transparency. Thinks boldly and out of the box and demands the highest standards.
- A self-starter with the ability to work remotely and independently as well as within a distributed team.
- Occasional travel for business is needed for site visits, trade shows, conferences, etc. (less than 10%).
- BS or advanced degree in a related engineering field (e.g., mechanical, architectural) is preferred.
