JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate for the GIS Analyst position will assist in managing projects and project teams to support on-going projects, quality control, and EnSiteUSA's Project Information Center (EPIC). The ideal candidate will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have attention to detail, and provide a broad range of IT knowledge.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelop, maintain, and update GIS databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Perform geospatial data processing and analysis in an Enterprise GIS environment.Collaborate with project teams to identify and define data needs and project requirements.Develop, integrate, and support EnSiteUSAs Project Information Center (EPIC)Utilize SQL and Python for database management and manipulation.Maintains continued knowledge of technology developments in the GIS field and use of GIS software.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOBPossesses basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.An in-depth understanding of pipeline systems and a good general knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.Good oral and written communication skills.Mapping skills and attention to detail.
Has experience with connecting AutoCAD Civil3D with GIS.Self-motivated toward steady production throughout the life of a project.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSExperience in the Oil and Gas, Pipeline, and Renewables sectors.5-6 years’ experience and knowledge with GIS databases and editing using ESRI software.Proficient in publishing web services and configuring web applications in an ArcGIS enterprise environment.Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Portal.Experience with SQL, Python, Model Builder, and business analytics.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.*This position is on-site and located in Lexington, Kentucky.
