Job Overview
The Electronics Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our electronic products through the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies. The successful candidate will lead a test effort, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy Development:Develop and implement test strategies for electronic products, considering factors such as functionality, reliability, and performance.Test Plan Creation:Create detailed test plans that align with product specifications and design requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all relevant test scenarios.Test Automation:Drive the development and implementation of automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and accuracy.Test Execution:Oversee the execution of test plans, ensuring that all aspects of electronic products are thoroughly tested.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams, to communicate test results, identify areas for improvement, and drive product quality.Continuous Improvement:Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices for testing methodologies.Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and any relevant findings. Ensure that documentation complies with company standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electronics testing.
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with LabView.
