The role of the technician is to assist crews by performing several supportive tasks. The job would include working in and around sanitary and storm sewers.Job Scope:
- Performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks.
- Have experience working with concrete products and applications.
- Enter manholes/confined spaces when necessary.
- Makes routine decisions and takes direction from supervision.
- Able to work in the elements for long duration.
- Operation and maintenance of all equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience operating a CDL vehicle
- Valid CDL driver’s license with tanker endorsement required.
- Experience with Jet/Vac trucks preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and out of town.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug test and driving record check consistent with company standards.
- Requires previous experience using equipment and tools. Additional experience with machinery operation and repair preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.$60 per diem.
