Job Overview:


Infinitum is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and owning the product roadmap and product requirements, utilizing customer feedback, competitor offerings, and industry requirements. As a key influencer, you will monitor and guide the Engineering project scope to achieve our product roadmap and revenue goals.This position requires a combination of discrete technical contributions and a broader understanding of the electric motor industry.

As the steward of the assigned product, you will be the voice of the customer and share joint accountability for achieving the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and own the product roadmap and product requirements
  • Utilize customer feedback, competitor offerings, and industry requirements
  • Monitor and influence Engineering project scope to achieve product roadmap and revenue goals
  • Make discrete technical contributions and consider the broader electric motor industry context
  • Serve as the steward of the assigned product and represent the voice of the customer while jointly accountable for achieving the roadmap.
  • Support sales and business development personnel by providing advanced technical application assistance
  • Work extensively with the NPI team for product-market launch
  • Apply experience in working with customers and stakeholders in varied market verticals around electrical equipment

Qualifications and Skills:


Must-Have Skills:


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 3+ years of engineering, product management, business development, or field services experience related to electrical or electronic industries. Preference given to direct experience with motors, control, automation, drives or digitalization solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate expectation, provide clear and honest feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience with working with cross functional teams such as manufacturing, sales, operations, and quality a must.
  • Previous experience in commercial HVAC, data center cooling, alternators, gensets and/or B2B commercial/industrial electrical products a plus.
  • Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem or products.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate results to varying levels from executive management, sales, operations, as well as customers.
  • Familiarity with requirements workflow: market analysis, product requirements elicitation and authoring.
