The Opportunity:
We are seeking for our VP, Demand Generation, reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, to help lead the Go-to-Market strategy globally. We need someone willing to dig deeper to understand our prospects needs and build the next level of strategy to fuel this growth in our market.The ideal candidate can "helicopter up and down," be highly strategic in allocating investment and resources to drive outcomes, but also hands-on to ensure successful execution. You will thrive in actively partnering with sales and product teams, whilst enjoying a high degree of interaction with customers and market innovators.You are a doer and Data-driven, mainly focused on the business achievements!Your role is to build and scale an Enterprise Marketing organization globally, focused on lead demand generation using automation and prospection.
Requirements
You will:
- You will be instrumental in leading, implementing and measuring global marketing programs.
- The marketing programs will unite regional field marketing initiatives and leverage synergies across the Sidetrade portfolio of solutions.
- You will develop processes and quarterly planning cycles. Campaigns will include digital marketing (website, SEO/SEM, social media), email nurture, ABM strategies, events, webinars and custom content creation, along with data-driven analysis and recommendations with key performance indicators.
- This role will be a critical part of cultivating marketing best practices and proven tactics that will create demand, generate qualified leads and pipeline, drive ROI across the Sidetrade solution portfolio and contribute to a world-class marketing organization.
- The VP will also lead the marketing automation strategy and liaise with stakeholders across both Sales & Marketing Operations to build and optimize an automated, streamlined and efficient marketing engine to act as the connective tissue that joins all Marketing and Sales platforms and activities together, providing Sidetrade with a frictionless, holistic view of the entire customer journey.
- Work seamlessly with key stakeholders from across Sidetrade to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of sales metrics and build complementary campaigns to support sales and product goals, create a strong BDR and sales funnel, reduce churn and strengthen client relationship
- The VP will develop a deep understanding of buyers and influencers, segmentation by industry and role, customer profiles and value propositions to make sure all global marketing programs are aligned to current Sidetrade strategic initiatives, objectives and goals
You will have:
- Experience as a VP or Director of Marketing or equivalent within a high growth B2B Business Enterprise Software company such as O2C, P2P, Supply Chain Finance, Treasury, Financials ERP, Procurement & Expenses Management, CRM…
- Strong Demand Generation expertise both in automation and prospection
- A solid track-record in a Scale-up fast-growing company.
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing Go-to-Market strategy on an emerging fast-growing market.
- A real experimented focus on Business deals achievements (MQL, SQL, Closed deal expertise) and a deep expertise on state-of-art Martech software (Marketo, SFDC …) and focused on a Data-driven approach of Marketing efficiency.
- Analytical expertise including measuring both lead and lag measures such as #MQL’s, #SQL’s and $ pipeline value created.
- Proven success record of partnering with sales to support all the Sales Cycle stages from Leads to Closed deals driving the cost of sales and time-to-close (ABM strategy).
- You are a self-starter, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your work with a collaborative style.
- Track record of building a metrics-driven, highly accountable marketing organization focused on measurable outcomes.
- A track record of successfully influencing analysts to improve positioning, with proven tactics and relationships for doing so.
- Dynamic personality and credibility to represent the firm in these relationships.
- Intellectually curious, problem solver, eager to learn, a persuasive and charismatic change agent.
- MSc/MBA or other advanced degree in Marketing
