Overview


As a Strategic Account Executive at Zylo, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and retention. You will be responsible for owning and enhancing the customer's perception of value, ensuring that they derive maximum benefit from Zylo's software and services. By understanding the unique needs and objectives of each strategic account, you will develop tailored strategies to drive adoption, usage, and expansion opportunities. You will plan, schedule, and monitor multiple activities in a fast-paced and fluid environment.

What you will do


  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic accounts.
  • Understand each customer's business goals, challenges, and desired outcomes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all strategic account-related matters.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and articulate the value they receive from Zylo's solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on how to optimize software subscriptions and reduce unnecessary costs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans tailored to each customer's objectives.
  • Own and facilitate the customer’s renewal with Zylo. 
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and upsell within existing accounts.
  • Gain deep knowledge of Zylo's platform and capabilities.
  • Provide consultative advice on how to best leverage the platform to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Act as a customer advocate within Zylo, ensuring that customer feedback is incorporated into product development and improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Renewals team to ensure timely and successful contract renewals.
  • Collaborate on pricing discussions and contract negotiations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and competitors' offerings.
  • Share relevant insights with customers to help them stay ahead in their respective markets.

Requirements

What you need


  • 5 years of business experience. 
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written - to effectively convey complex information. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change and be a team player.
  • Ability and proven experience with strategic thinking and complex decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Nice to have


  • 4 year college degree 
  • Proven experience in a strategic account management or customer success role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
