As an FP&A Analyst at Quisitive, you will be part of a dedicated team that supports the delivery practices aligned with Microsoft offerings and focuses on operations and profitability. You will have high visibility and interact directly with senior staff and company leadership, providing insights and recommendations on financial performance and strategy. You will also have the opportunity to grow your skills and career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What will my role be?
- As a “financial partner” you will work side-by-side with our cloud solutions and go-to-market businesses to monitor and measure financial performance, lead the budgeting process, and improve performance.
- Work closely with accounting, IT, and delivery teams to prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
- Monitor and manage key delivery KPIs such as utilization, bill rates, revenue, cost margin, and customer satisfaction.
- Support the development and implementation of financial models, tools, and processes to enhance decision making and planning.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.
What’s required?
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field or commensurate work experience.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and how business activities affect financial performance, and ability to optimize their interaction.
- At least 3 years of experience in FP&A within a professional services firm or working as a financial partner supporting P&L owners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and can work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Direct experience with management reporting, you can present complex financial data and analysis; conduct variance analyses; translating financial performance back into the business with meaningful and actional insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling, and familiarity with Microsoft solutions and tools.
- High level attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Exceptional communication skills, the ability to respond to queries quickly and comprehensively related to business performance; and the ability to convey the “essence of the story” to executives with sufficient details.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, and can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Local to Nashville, TN, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX or Austin, TX.
What would make me stand out?
- Experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot is a plus.
- Experience in financial analytics, wrangling large data sets, building data models, and drafting and delivering management reporting requirements
- Experience with Kantata or similar time tracking and billing system
- Experience with Business Central or experience navigating similar GL/ERP systems
- Experience with Solver, similar budgeting and consolidation software
- MBA, CFA, or CMA designations, or working toward these
