Requirements
What you will do
- Lead a 3-month project, starting from architectural design, all the way through to implementation and delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Quant Research, DevOps, and other teams to design and build enterprise-grade features.
- Establish standards for code quality, testing, and enterprise-grade architecture. Also, make sure to prioritize documentation.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the project's performance, resilience, and availability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
- Maintain awareness of cost implications related to tools, services, and product implementations.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Excellent understanding of Javascript / Typescript
- Strong understanding of NestJS, Express or similar NodeJS backend frameworks
- Proficiency in Cloud Architecture & System Design (preferably AWS)
- Experience with microservices / distributed systems
Great to haves
- Prior experience or a strong interest in FinTech & SaaS
- Python experience would be a plus
- Work experience in a start/scale-up
