The Finance Team at Chainalysis splits their time between fine-tuning the details and evaluating the 30,000 foot view of our business. Our job is to help the company plan for growth by investing in the right resources and auditing our expenditures and revenues to ensure we’re being fiscally responsible.
The Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A at Chainalysis is a team player who is detail and deadline oriented, enjoys working cross functionally, and can manage competing priorities in a fast paced work environment. In this role you’ll work closely with finance and accounting and play an important role in building out new processes and providing data driven insights.
In this role, you’ll:
Work with FP&A and accounting on the monthly close and forecast cadences, streamlining processes & collaborating across departments
Support the consolidated reporting of our company wide P&L
Prepare presentations for company leadership and the board
Support in driving the Company Annual Financial Planning Process
Manage and execute ad hoc projects while maintaining day to day operations to ensure the team is achieving commitments
Proactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance organization
Collaborate with and influence cross-functional, global teams to achieve objectives
Support in the development and maintenance of end-to-end workflows and process documentation as necessary
Support in the effort to develop and maintain operational controls and compliance
We’re looking for candidates who have:
Established background in FP&A
A bias for action and enthusiasm for solving problems
Experience with software platforms such as Netsuite, Adaptive, Salesforce, Coupa, Navan, etc.
Proven ability to scale manual processes into more automated ones
Experience working on a global team and managing global stakeholders
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical abilities and an appetite for process improvements and efficiencies
Nice to have experience:
Previous experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
