Our Mission and Opportunity
Early education is one of the greatest determinants of childhood outcomes, is a must for working families, and has a lasting social and economic impact. Brightwheel’s vision is to enable high quality early education for every child — by giving teachers meaningfully more time with students each day, engaging parents in the development of their kids, and supporting the small businesses that make up the backbone of the $175 billion early education market. Brightwheel is the most loved technology brand in early education globally, trusted by thousands of educators and millions of families.
Our Team
We are a fully remote team with employees across every time zone in the US. Our team is passionate, talented, and customer-focused. Our exceptional investor group includes Addition, Bessemer Venture Partners, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, GGV Capital, Lowercase Capital, Emerson Collective, and Mark Cuban. We believe that everyone—from our employees to the students, teachers, and administrators we serve— should be given the opportunity to learn and thrive, whatever their background may be. We celebrate diversity in all forms because it allows our team and the communities we serve to reach their full potential and do their best work.
Who you are
Financial services are core to the future of brightwheel. Building on the success of our growing Financial Services offering (such as Billing and Payroll), we are looking to hire a senior business leader to double down on our commitment to providing financial solutions to schools, parents, and teachers that free up their time to focus on what really matters: providing high quality education to every child. The Fintech GTM Sr Manager is responsible for driving the strategy and operational execution of our financial services portfolio.
They own the P&L and work in close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Product leadership to turn strategy into execution. This is a critical, high-exposure role that will be accountable for a significant percentage of total Annual Recurring Revenue.
What you’ll do

Define, track, and execute against key initiatives. You’ll be a player-coach.
- Govern the business. Partner with Analytics and Finance to establish plans and metrics that matter. Put in place an operating system that allows you to actively monitor and control the business through insights. Take your work from an idea to sustainable frameworks. Drive cyclical business planning and OKR setting.
- Collaborate with Product on feature prioritization: You own the go-to-market, Product owns the customer experience. Collaborating closely is key to the success of our schools and parents. Develop and track experiments, collect learnings and iterate towards sustained results.
