About the job
As a QA Engineer at Sky Mavis, you will play a crucial role in assessing software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs and glitches, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Operating at the bleeding edge of blockchain technology, many of your responsibilities may involve experiments that have never been conducted before. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be bright, nimble, and willing to innovate.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify defects in functionality, usability, and performance across web applications, mobile applications (Android/iOS…)
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues on all relevant platforms.
- Write clear and concise bug reports with detailed steps to reproduce the issue, including platform specifics.
- Designing and implementing automation test scripts, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
- Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline.
- Maintain and improve existing automated test scripts for all platforms.
- Collaborating with Product Owners and Product Designers to understand project requirements.
- Proactively optimizing and improving the development process of the engineering team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies and tools for various platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience with strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowing how to research and have knowledge about blockchain.
- Strong in API backend tests.
- Strong in Integration test.
- Experience in SQL.
- Logical thinking and good at test cases writing.
