About the role
Our People & Talent team has big goals. We’re creating market-leading people processes which will scale with us. This role will be fundamental to the success of these processes in ensuring we’re slick in our operations and constantly questioning how we can make it better? You’ll report to the Global People Operations Specialist and work closely with the wider team. This is a maternity cover for 12 months.
- Carwow's HR system, Hibob, is the heart of our awesome People team, and we need a superstar coordinator to keep it running smoothly. You'll be the data hero, making sure everything's up-to-date with new starters, leavers, and team changes. Plus, you'll get to improve our templates and workflows, making data collection and reporting a breeze. This is your chance to have a real impact!
- From providing offer letters and contracts to celebrating promotions and providing references, you'll ensure every team member at Carwow has the documents they need, throughout their journey.
- You'll be the mastermind behind uploading and filing all new starter documents (passports, payroll and right to work info) to keep us squeaky clean.
- Keeping track of current staff and leavers' documents, ensuring Hibob is always organised and up-to-date.
- Processing our UK payroll for 400+ employees
- You'll be the mastermind behind ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for every new team member at Carwow. Think about scheduling onboarding sessions, coordinating with IT, and making sure everyone's on the same page – you'll be the hero behind the scenes!
- This role will carry out benefits administration (such as adding / removing people from our Health Insurance plan), as well as Share option administration (such as creating agreements) or managing our training platform.
- People Team Project Support - you’ll be able to get involved in supporting team projects.
- Adhoc administrative duties - such as conducting DBS checks or arranging staff gifts.
Requirements
- You are willing to jump in as maternity cover for the next 12 months
- Demonstrated interest in people's best practices and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
- Enthusiasm for creating a positive and engaging employee experience.
- A genuine desire to support employee growth and development.
- Ability to develop and implement systems and processes that can grow with the organisation.
- Experience in thinking strategically about people needs and anticipating future challenges.
- Strong understanding of data and how it can be used to inform decisions.
- Being comfortable with using a variety of systems and a quick learner
- A self-starter who takes initiative and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
- A data-driven approach to suggesting and implementing people process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills to advocate for change and present ideas persuasively.
- Previous experience with Hibob, Pento or Freshservice is a plus.
- As you will be supporting our locations globally, being Fluent in Spanish/German/ Portuguese is a plus
