In this role, you will report to the Regional Vice President of Sales. As a Regional Director you will be focused on recruitment, enablement and execution for the Enterprise Sales team. You will drive revenue growth, expanding market share, fostering customer success of the Enterprise business (Global 2000 / $500M+ Revenue).

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams, driving customer acquisition, and exceeding revenue targets.  At PagerDuty our products solve Big Problems, but we also recognize that our greatest asset is our team. Our sales leadership team is committed to building the best salesforce and to creating an environment where every member feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential. You will bring with you meaningful software industry experience in any of the following: modern SaaS, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor a team of up to 8 Account Executives, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive individual and team performance.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence within the Enterprise segment (Global 2000 / $500M+ Revenue)
  • Formulate and execute a regional business plan to exceed plan and drive customer success
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive-level contacts, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
  • Evangelize and promote the adoption of PagerDuty’s validated sales methodology MEDDIC, “Command of the Message”, and drive adoption and expertise within your team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and customer needs.
  • Support and coach reps daily in account development, penetration,  success, qualification, discovery, deal management and closing activities.
  • Lead a disciplined and efficient operating motion that maximizes time with customers/prospects and fosters a predictable, high-growth business
  • Deliver timely and accurate pipeline information and forecast to PagerDuty leadership
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Basic Qualifications


  • 8+ years quota-carrying field experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on technology
  • A minimum of 5 years of leading individual contributor sales people to success in high growth, complex environments
  • Exhibit ability to coach, mentor and develop sales talent
  • A track record of accurately forecasting sales results
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • The ability to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment
  • Reciprocal spirit and communication skills
  • Hiring Locations:  Atlanta, San Francisco, Toronto

Preferred  Qualifications


  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDICC, SPIN, CoM, Challenger Sales)
