You should be ready to travel to customer sites, eager to engage directly with problems, and capable of building solutions using Golang, Kubernetes, and other CNCF technologies.
What you'll be doing:
- Build and manage a team of Solutions Engineers.
- Train, coach, mentor, and guide your team toward successful performance, career progression, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with engineering teams from some of the world's most sophisticated technology companies.
- Assist companies in enhancing their security, compliance, and development experience.
- Drive technical wins to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Visit our largest customers on-site to demonstrate new features and construct solutions.
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrated ability to lead a customer-facing team, including strong skills in people management, mentoring, coaching, and development.
- Proven experience managing customer outcomes through various stages of the customer journey, from sales process to onboarding, adoption, and growth.
- Strong understanding of Linux networking and network security.
- Exceptional practical knowledge of modern CNCF and cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Successful track record of navigating complex deployments at innovative companies.
- Solid programming skills in Python or Golang, required for interfacing with the Teleport Engineering team.
- Hands-on experience with one of the major public cloud providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Exceptional skills in server-side software troubleshooting, testing, and debugging.
$247,000 - $400,000 a yearThe typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is $247,000 - $400,000 for a level 5 and level 6, which consists of a Base Salary plus a Target Commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
