The Role:
Carrot is looking for a seasoned business systems technologist to be the founding member of our BizSys team. Carrot’s business is growing, and we need to scale our internal systems to stay ahead of demand. We’re looking for someone with a blend of business acumen and technical expertise to help our internal business applications integrate seamlessly. The right candidate has deep experience building systems to support key business processes like Order to Cash. In this role, you will partner with our Finance and GTM teams across their spectrum of technologies. You’ll design and build robust integrations, and ensure that our data is high quality and reliable.
The Team:
- Partner closely with GTM, Finance and Accounting leadership to build a cross-functional technology program
- Deeply understand the teams and technologies that make up our Order to Cash process
- Become a subject matter expert on our business processes and cycles, and put technology solutions in place that allow us to efficiently scale
- Leverage your industry expertise to help the business take advantage of advancements like AI
- Help the business translate their needs into technical requirements, and guide them through development and testing cycles
- Form our Business Tech Steering Committee to create transparency around the work being done on behalf of the business
- Do the hands-on engineering work to build integrations between enterprise apps like Salesforce and NetSuite. You may be managing technical resources to assist with this
- Make technology decisions that support a streamlined, integrated, and modern tech stack
Minimum Qualifications:
- Expert understanding of GTM, Finance and Accounting business processes like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire, etc
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with modern CRM/ERP integrations, configuration, and common features. Netsuite and Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Well-versed in the modern technology landscape, with a focus on how AI can significantly help the business
- Hands on experience developing integrations. You’ve built API integrations using custom code, and leveraged modern iPaaS tooling. You are opinionated about which to use and when
- Minimum of 5 years of application requirements gathering and design, including process mapping and gap analysis
- Able to take the lead on build vs buy decisions. You have an excellent understanding of tradeoffs and pros/cons
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills. You can articulate your ideas well and get buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $170,000.00- $225,000.00. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
