WHO YOU ARE:
As an Associate of Accounting and Finance you will provide financial support and expertise to assist in the efficient operation of the organization. Manage financial transactions, reporting, and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement financial strategies and budgets.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Research and processing information on multiple screens and applications.• Provides advanced support in the areas of problem identification and resolution.• The candidate should be open to working in any shift. Should have been communicated that the process works 24x5 and the shift timings can be changed as per client requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 0 to 1 years of experience, prepare, check and review monthly / quarterly journal entries for posting.
- Communicating for additional information with operations and other finance teams.
- Ensure that daily, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliations are performed to ensure accuracy of reported numbers and ensure that appropriate controls in the financial accounting and reporting process are applied.
- Analyzing the data and understanding the accounting impact on each transaction for better treatment of the open item.
- Ensure risks and issues in processes are identified, reported and escalated as appropriately as required.
- Ensure that service is being provided in timely manner with quality standards.
- Provide training to junior team members and helping process to update SOPs for any exceptions.
- Sharing the best practices with the team and playing the role of a key team members though out the tenure.
- The candidate should be a commerce graduate.
- Reasoning skills, analytical ability and decision-making skills with sound judgment plays a vital role to work in this process.
- Experience in Financial accounting, reporting and reconciliations of financial data.
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and adhere to the quality standard.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP is a must)
- Resource must have good verbal and written communication skills to exchange information with client.
- Good keyboard skills – needs to be able to toggle between many screens with speed and needs to be able to type with speed and accuracy.
- Prefer knowledge of PeopleSoft.
- Self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment.
