- Provide legal guidance and support to the Spenmo business operations in Singapore.
- Give accurate and timely counsel and assistance to the management in a variety of legal topics such as operational activities, labor law, partnerships, business development, etc.
- Advise on a wide range of legal, commercial, and compliance matters, including payments and lending regulations, data privacy, intellectual property, and AML/CFT that might apply to the Spenmo business.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to payments law, data privacy law, and corporate law.
- Provide practical end-to-end legal advice to manage legal risks while advancing business objectives.
- Monitor relevant legislative developments and advise on any impact there might be on existing business lines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional stakeholders, including, Product, Finance, Strategy and Marketing.

- 2-6 years PQE, with a preference for candidates with prior in-house experience in a fintech, payments or technology company.
- Strong analytical, communication and writing skills, including the ability to distill complex legal issues effectively for business stakeholders.
- Motivated, efficient, and organised with a proven track record to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic about the fintech space, dealing with novel regulatory issues and a willingness to adapt.
- Demonstrates ability to deliver practical, thoughtful and commercially-minded results that appropriate balance business growth and legal risk.
