What to expect?


Contentful is seeking a Mulesoft Developer for our integration platform. Your primary role will be to create new integrations using Mulesoft and support them in production. You will work with our Mulesoft Architect and the wider Business Systems and Information Services team to design, implement and test Mulesoft solutions.

What you need to be successful


Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in MuleSoft development
  • Solid experience designing and developing RAML based APIs using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design patterns and unit testing.
  • Experience with consuming, transforming various data formats across multiple external applications (i.e. Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Dataweave).
  • Fundamental understanding of - and experience working with - Mulesoft’s suite of services including Anypoint Platform (Runtime Manager, API Manager, etc.) and Anypoint Studio.
  • Familiarity and comfortability with multiple data formats including XML and JSON.
  • Familiarity with multiple integration technologies including SOAP and REST.
  • Familiarity with automated deployment processes (CI/CD) and version control (Git)
  • Demonstrable ability to support, debug, and produce solutions for existing Mulesoft applications.
  • Have strong teamwork skills, open to diverse opinions, and can give reasons for your technical decisions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite and Workday
  • Building Custom Connectors using Mule SDK
  • Mulesoft Developer certification
